As an adult, Anne embraces her lifelong enthusiasm for writing, having become a well published author and aspiring playwright. Achieving much success in her professional life, she knows that this alone is not the key to true happiness. After enduring many trials throughout her days, she never once deterred from her strong convictions to make a difference in the lives of those around her. Fiercely loyal and dedicated to others, Anne always managed to keep her childlike ideals and values in all of her life’s dealings.

Impatiently awaiting the return of her son Dominic from the war, Anne tries to keep herself occupied with other distractions, although her worries can never truly be dismissed until he returns home. Her many obstacles in life help to shape the strong woman she has become but one thing that remains the same is her devotion and love for Green Gables.
