The Penelopiad is Atwood's response to Homer's Odyssey, and is written from the perspective of Penelope, Odysseus' wife (unlike The Odyssey itself, which focuses primarily on Odysseus' journey).
Follows will star in Toronto's first presentation of the production, directed by Kelly Thornton, and performed at the Nightwood Theatre.
Follows is no stranger to the stage, having starred in such productions as This, Cloud 9, 'Night Mother, Three Sisters, and Top Girls.
