Kids' Comments on Animated Anne

Parents, teachers and all lovers of Anne may not be aware of all the special features the Anne of Green Gables Animated Series has to offer.  The features section of each DVD in the series contains a special behind-the-scenes “after school” style Q & A session with young children.

In these “Kids’ Comments” segments (there is one for each episode) a number of students are asked questions about what they learned from Anne’s escapades.  Since each storyline in the series was developed with the help of an educational consultant, there is much for the students to talk about.

The following video is an example of the types of issues that are brought up in these sessions, which are perfect for showing in a classroom setting or your own living room.  This video contains scenes from Volume One’s “Babysitter Blues”, in which Gilbert learns what it means to be a responsible babysitter, and “One True Friend” - when Anne learns the meaning of loyalty.
