This April, Sullivan Insiders can expect to enjoy a wide range of streaming selections, behind-the-scenes videos, interviews and more on SullivanMovies.com.  Here is a list of just some of the features that will be posted throughout the month:

April 1

Read a special Q & A with actress Day Irvine, who played tomboy Maisey McGinty on Wind at My Back.  The 28-year-old tells us about the show’s impact on her life, what it was like working with Shirley Douglas (May Bailey) and her friends on the set.

Watch the full feature film, The Wild Pony, directed by Kevin Sullivan.  The film stars Marilyn Lightstone, who played Muriel Stacey in Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea, as well as Art Hindle, who starred in Sullivan’s Sleeping Dogs Lie.  This family drama tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who befriends a wild pony in order to escape his troubles at home.

April 5

Catch the Road to Avonlea episode, “Proof of the Pudding”, from Season One.  In this episode, Felicity is left in charge of her siblings and Sara, when Alec, Janet and Hetty all leave town.

April 7

Watch Wind at My Back’s Season One episode, “Something From Nothing”, in which Honey struggles to keep her health and find work while living in Toronto.  Meanwhile, both Hub and Fat learn what it means to have jobs of their own.

April 8

Enjoy special uncut footage from the filming of Anne of Green Gables.  Fans can watch archival behind-the-scenes video footage that shows the actual filming of a scene from the movie.  More details to follow…

April 12

The Road to Avonlea episode “Aunt Abigail’s Beau” will begin streaming on this day.  This memorable episode follows Abigail Ward as her life is turned upside down at the reappearance of her old beau, Malcolm McEwan, who has returned to Avonlea after a seven-year absence.

April 15

Fans of Wind at My Back will appreciate a special video featuring the filming locations used in the series.  Location Manager Dan Matthews explains which towns the show was filmed in and how the studio set was used to recreate the town of New Bedford.

These are just some of the scheduled features available to Insiders.  Continue to check back at SullivanMovies.com to see an updated schedule for the rest of the month.  And to learn how to become an Insider, click here!

I've just finished the Wind at My Back Series. Unfortunately, I had never heard of it until just recently when she bought the series after seeing it on TV. Fortunately, she gave me the series to watch, and I don't think I will ever be able to put the Baileys out of my mind. It is the absolute best drama I have ever seen, in a theater or on TV. Always an avid fan of good drama, this series captivated me from the first scene to the last. I can only hope Sullivan Entertainment will bring them back to the screen again and again.
