A spellbinding ghost story unfolds when 12-year-old Jane Stuart discovers that her mysterious father (Sam Waterston), whom her family has tried to convince her is dead, resurfaces to reconcile his troubled past. She discovers a kind man, genuinely interested in both her welfare and her mother’s. With the assistance of a powerful mystic (Colleen Dewhurst), Jane resolves to reunite her parents, despite the horrible forces that stand in her way.

Fans of Sullivan Entertainment may remember the actress who plays Jane Stuart, Mairon Bennett, as the young Hetty King in Road to Avonlea’s Season Five episode “Momento Mori”. She also played the character Colleen Pritchard in Season Six’s “A Time to Every Purpose”. In addition, Bennet starred in the other Sullivan film, Butterbox Babies.
Famous Law & Order star Sam Waterson plays the role of Jane’s father in the film, while Patricia Phillips (Looking for Miracles) portrays her grandmother. Also, famed Broadway actress Zoe Caldwell, who played Old Lady Lloyd in Road to Avonlea’s first season, co-stars in this star-studded drama.
