- With Sara’s kind help, Davey Keith learns how to be successful and find his place at school
- Jasper finds a new outlet for his scientific creations, and with Olivia by his side, the family takes on new and exciting challenges
- After a setback in her literary career, Hetty King realizes she has what it takes to be a successful businesswoman in Avonlea
- Felicity’s choice for her education means she must decide with her head, as well as her heart

This season features stories and characters that make us laugh and tug at our heartstrings, as the King family and the people of Avonlea deal with both triumph and tragedy. Guest stars include Stockard Channing, Bruce Greenwood, and Marilyn Lightstone.
