Away at war in France for the last five years, Dominic Blythe, is Anne’s adopted son. Having been an orphan as a child like his mother, Anne always made sure to instill in him the same love and passion for Green Gables as she was taught.

Now in his early 20’s, he has matured into a distinguished soldier. Despite being extremely proud of her son’s accomplishments, Anne cannot help but worry about him while he is still at war as she continues to fear that bad news is imminent.
