Caramel Pudding Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine in a small sauce pan: brown sugar, flour and salt over low heat.
  2. Slowly add in 1 cup of boiling water.
  3. Stir together for about 5 minutes, the sauce should be thick and creamy.
  4. After 5 minutes, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla and butter until everything is combined.
  5. Check to see if any mice fell in the sauce...
  6. Pour this sauce over plum pudding, or any cake! Enjoy!
